8:30 Collect tour group in George. Travel into the Little Karoo via the magnificent Outeniqua Pass.
The Klein Karoo (Kannaland) is unique - the land of ostriches and majestic sandstone mountains, deftly spectacular ravines - the land of vineyards, fruit orchards and a vast agricultural richness hidden behind a costume of apparent aridity.

We travel through this semi-desert area to the beautiful little village of De Rust.

10:00 Tea and scones at De Rust.

Proceed into the spectacular Meiringspoort. Driving through the gorge you will cross the same river 25 times, each little bridge has a name of its own with an interesting story to each of them. The majestic cliffs and tree lined river invite you to visit the waterfall high up in the crags. Baboons can sometimes be seen lazing around and dassies (Cape hyrax) sunbathe on the rocks and if you are lucky you might see a grysbok.

12:00 Arrive at Prince Albert. This beautiful village is situated at the foot of theSwartberg Mountains. Although in an arid region, Prince Albert is a little oasis, blessed with water from the Swartberg Mountains. Prince Albert is known for Cape Dutch and Victorian Buildings, mohair products, olives and cheese.

13:00 Enjoy a traditional lunch at the Swartberg Hotel.

14:00 Travel along the magnificent Swartberg Pass. The high cliffs and spectacular fynbos are breathtakingly beautiful and will leave a lasting impression on any traveler.

From Oudtshoorn, we proceed along the spectacular Robinson’s Pass en route to Mossel Bay. Enjoy the abundant plant and birdlife en route.

16:00 Afternoon tea at Delfino’s overlooking the ocean. Watch for dolphins, whales or seals whilst you enjoy tea.

18:00 Arrival back in George.
